Seoul, South Korea – Indonesian state-owned energy company PT Pertamina (Persero) secured two prestigious accolades at the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards 2025, reaffirming its growing role in corporate innovation and financial excellence within the Asia-Pacific region. The awards were presented during a ceremony held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Seoul.

Pertamina’s Director of Finance, Emma Sri Martini, was honored with the Silver Stevie Award for Most Innovative Leader of the Year, while the company also received the Bronze Stevie Award for Innovative Achievement in Finance.

The recognition particularly highlights Pertamina’s implementation of the Liquidity Control Tower (LCT) initiative—a strategic financial framework based on four operational pillars: Cash Visibility, Cash Forecast, Cash Optimizer, and Payment Workflow. The LCT system is credited with enhancing the group’s liquidity management and financial efficiency.

According to Juferson V. Mangempis, Pertamina’s Vice President of Investor Relations, “Winning the Stevie Awards for two consecutive years demonstrates Pertamina’s consistent contribution to representing Indonesia on the international stage, especially in the Asia-Pacific region.”

He emphasized that such awards not only validate internal transformation but also offer insight into external expectations from key stakeholders, especially investors and financial institutions. “It reflects the company’s adaptability and proactive stance toward evolving business challenges,” Juferson added.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, VP of Corporate Communication, echoed this sentiment, stating that the international recognition aligns with Pertamina’s financial performance improvement goals. “This proves that Pertamina’s reputation is gaining strong acknowledgement globally,” he said.

The Asia Pacific Stevie Awards are organized by The Stevie Awards, a U.S.-based program that celebrates business achievements worldwide. The competition is open to organizations across 22 countries in the region and draws participation from over 600 companies annually.

Entries are judged on innovation strategy, execution quality, and measurable business impact. According to the committee, Pertamina’s innovations “demonstrated clear implementation success and delivered substantial outcomes for the company.”

As a national energy leader, Pertamina continues to strengthen its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives. The company remains committed to Indonesia’s Net Zero Emission 2060 target, with programs designed to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and enable long-term regional cooperation in energy transition.
