Bali – In a significant recognition of medical excellence and leadership within the Southeast Asian region, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saifur Rohman, Sp.JP(K), Ph.D., a leading cardiologist from Indonesia, was presented the Inspiring Professional & Leadership Award 2025 at the 6.0 Award Trends Summit, held on June 14, 2025, at The Trans Resort, Bali.

Organized by Indonesia Award Magazine, the summit highlighted key contributors across professional fields who have demonstrated integrity, innovation, and public impact. Prof. Saifur, as Head of the Cardiovascular Study Center at Universitas Brawijaya, was honored for his transformative role in advancing cardiovascular health both clinically and academically.

His achievements include groundbreaking research in molecular cardiology, the development of an AI-based heart risk detection app, and the creation of De-Teko, a functional beverage designed for metabolic syndrome patients. These works resonate strongly with ASEAN’s broader healthcare agenda—particularly in integrating technology and prevention strategies.

Chairman of the summit, GP Rajasa Pranadewa, stated, “Prof. Saifur Rohman exemplifies the spirit of ASEAN medical leadership: forward-looking, science-driven, and people-centered.”

Beyond innovation, Prof. Saifur initiated Malang Cardiovascular Care, a community-focused program that supports secondary prevention and rehabilitation for heart patients. It serves as a regional model of holistic care that combines education, treatment, and empowerment.

The award places Prof. Saifur among a growing group of Southeast Asian professionals who are not only advancing their fields, but also fostering cross-border health resilience and collaboration.

His work continues to inspire institutions, practitioners, and policymakers across ASEAN to approach healthcare not just as a service—but as a mission to elevate quality of life at scale.
