Jakarta – PT Arutmin Indonesia (Arutmin), a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), has received dual recognition for its dedication to micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) development at the 2025 Bina Mitra UMKM Award—an event that underscores collaborative economic efforts across Southeast Asia.

Held at the Nareswara Ballroom, SME Tower, the award ceremony was organized by CFCD Foundation in cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, and Ministry of Trade. Arutmin earned the Gold category, the event’s highest honor, for two recognitions: the UMKM Partner Award (Lebah Madu Amat S) and the MSME Enabler Award, received by Cipto Prayitno, Mine Manager at Arutmin’s Satui mine.

The Gold category reflects a company’s success in meeting rigorous standards in MSME support, including mentorship structure, the level of independence achieved by partner businesses, and the demonstrated impact of facilitator programs.

This achievement not only positions Arutmin as a key corporate partner in community-based economic development but also aligns with Indonesia’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The company’s approach to enterprise capacity-building stands as a model of public-private synergy—a practice increasingly mirrored in ASEAN member states seeking to strengthen grassroots economic ecosystems.

Arutmin’s initiative highlights the growing importance of enterprise development in regional trade conversations. As ASEAN looks to deepen inclusive growth and resilience through intra-regional partnerships, such award-winning practices serve as concrete examples of how the private sector can catalyze local business advancement while enhancing national competitiveness.

With this milestone, Arutmin reaffirms its position as not just a major player in mining, but also a leading force in fostering sustainable economic networks across Indonesia and beyond.
